Shyanne Poutai
If you’re feeling weighed down by tension, stress, or a sense of disconnection from your own tinana, I hear you. So many of us carry hara quietly in our bodies — tight shoulders from emotional load, headaches that arrive without warning, or aches that linger long after the moment has passed. Whether you’re seeking relief, grounding, or simply a place to breathe, my role is to help you feel seen, supported, and reconnected in a way that honours every part of you.
As a Clinical Massage Therapist, I draw on years of experience working with a range of bodies, lifestyles, and injuries. My approach blends evidence-informed techniques such as deep tissue, myofascial release, neuromuscular work, and trigger point therapy. Together, we can reduce pain, restore mobility, and help your body move with more ease so you can get back to the things that light you up.
As a Mirimiri practitioner, my mahi is guided by aroha, kaitiakitanga, and wairua. Mirimiri acknowledges that tension and pain are often woven through the physical, emotional, and spiritual layers of our lives. My intention is to create a sacred and supportive space where you feel nurtured, restored, and reconnected — kia tau te mauri, kia ora te tinana, kia mārama te hinengaro. This work is deeply personal and draws on the wisdom of my tīpuna alongside my clinical training, supporting you to rebalance, soften, and come home to yourself.
If your tinana or wairua is asking for awhi, I’d love to work alongside you. Whether you choose Massage or Mirimiri (booked separately), each session is tailored with care, presence, and intention. Kōrero mai — let’s begin your journey back to comfort, clarity, and ease.
