Cancellation Policy
Cancellation Notice
We require at least 24 hours' notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment time.
You may cancel or reschedule via text, email, phone call, or voicemail.
Fees
If you cancel with less than 24 hours' notice, a late cancellation fee of $30 will apply. This fee may be waived for first-time offenses, where you'll be reminded of the policy.
Cancellations made on the day of the appointment may incur a fee of either $30 or the full appointment cost, depending on whether we can fill the slot.
No-Show Policy
If you do not show up for your appointment, we will attempt to contact you within 5 minutes of the scheduled start time.
If we cannot reach you, a text will be sent notifying you of the potential no-show fee.
The full service fee will be charged for missed appointments. However, discretion may be used to waive this fee on your next visit.
Hinengāro Clients
Hinengāro clients are aware that same-day cancellations will incur the full service fee, and funding streams will not cover these fees.
No-show rules also apply to Hinengāro clients, and more information is available in the Counselling commitments policy signed at the beginning of sessions.
We understand that emergencies may occur, such as serious accidents or health issues. In such cases, the late cancellation fee may be reconsidered.
Schedule conflicts, such as work or school commitments, do not fall under this exception and will be charged accordingly.
